Top Secret: T-Shirt

Tracking Down Swiss Eco Fashion

The German textile industry simply cannot fathom it: their colleagues in Switzerland have put their faith in eco-labels. A serious threat for the German market! And a case for James Cotton...

Against this fictitious background the film presents two Swiss companies with impeccable social and ecological records and takes us behind the scenes, to their mills in Kenya and India. One question remains at the end: would something similar not be possible in Germany?

Press reviews:

Süddeutsche Zeitung:
Can they really not find a trace of poison, not a gram of artificial fertilizer? Since this is a mystery, we can’t tell who dunnit, so watch this film!

natur:
The story works, not only because of James Bond-like music and the partly hilarious camera work. Here we have a subject treated both seriously and with tongue-in-cheek.
